Spirit Halloween Vendor Policy Update for 2012
We have highlighted some important changes to our vendor policy for 2012. Please review the vendor policy in its entirety and contact us with any questions.
· QUOTE SHEETS
o Please use the new 2012 Spirit Quote sheets for all new items only.
o Any change for a rebuy item must be emailed via spreadsheet by December 9th.
o Any costumes that are oversized must be noted on the quote sheet. Our standard bag size is 12x16. All other bag sizes need to be confirmed by the buyer.
o Samples are required for Décor, Masks and Accessories and will not be returned.
· PACKAGING
o Insert cards must fit the entire front of the costume, accessory or wig bag.
o Price stickers for ALL items must be placed on the bag (or outside of packaging), not on insert. Please reference the style guide for ticket placement. If not shown on style guide, the correct location is the bottom right hand corner.
o Bags must be made with PVC material & the proper thickness - bags must be of smooth quality.
o Costumes with accessories must have accessories packaged in one separate bag within the costume bag.
o Costume bags require 2 snaps, and a minimum of 3 snaps on bags for larger, heavier costumes.
o Costumes require sku # on care label or another label sewn into costume. A chargeback will be issued for those who are not compliant during the 2012 season.
o Please refer to the style guide for Plus size packaging requirements.
o All bag hangers must open to the left - no loop extenders or handle hanger bags permitted.
o Sewn in labels, packaging & bags should not include the company name or RN# for all items.
o Any packaging that includes a grommet – Grommet size must be at least 3/8” in diameter.
o All Masks require a header card. The Header Card must support the weight of the mask. Use extra Swift Tacks and Grommet(s) if necessary.
o All Masks will require the sku # molded or stamped into mask.
o All hats require a header card unless approved by buyer.
· PRICE TICKETS
o Price stickers must be the appropriate size & placed on the bag, not on the insert.
o Tickets must be placed on the bottom right hand corner of all costumes, wigs & accessories.
o Packaging for sunglasses without a headercard has changed. We will no longer accept a hangtag with an adhesive price ticket. Glasses will require only a Jewelry Tag.
· PRODUCTION SAMPLES
o Samples must be received no later than 14 days prior to the ship date. Samples must be floor ready - mock ups are not accepted.
o If a production sample was not received and the item receives a vendor chargeback violation, you will be charged double the chargeback amount.
o You will be not able to ship your order unless production samples are approved.
An acknowledgment form recapping these changes will also be sent to each vendor via email on Friday January 6th along with a copy of the updated manual. We ask that you sign and return the acknowledgment form to our buying team.
